Quinolone Vigilance Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization which fosters, initiates, and funds vital research into Fluoroquinolone Toxicity. We also raise awareness about the dangers of fluoroquinolone antibiotics such as Levaquin, Cipro, and Avelox. In addition, we educate doctors about the dangers to their patients, and we help medical facilities re-write their policies on how they are prescribed.

At QVF we do not take a salary and overhead expenses are paid out of our own pockets. Donations go to helping us further our mission.

To quote our mission statement:

"To fulfill the Mission, we will:

-Network medical professionals and researchers.
- Foster, initiate, and direct fundamental research to discover underlying toxicity mechanisms.
- Fund research that will produce the most promising results.
- Translate new discoveries into effective medical practices, therapies and public health approaches.
- Develop and apply discovered knowledge to educate the medical community and help alleviate individual suffering."

This event is dedicated to the memories of Chris Dannelly and Bob Grozier, who tragically lost their lives after taking Levaquin and Cipro respectively. The flyers will have photos of the men with some information about them. We thank the Dannelly and Grozier families for providing the photos to us and for allowing us to tell their stories to the patrons to everyone in attendance.

We will have wristbands, awareness poster, flyers, photo album, brochures, awareness cards, and other items.

We will post photos during and after the event.

On March 26, Executive Director Rachel Brummert will be speaking at a Congressional Hearing on Capitol Hill.

The following day on March 27 she will give testimony at an FDA Hearing about a proposed rule that would serve to overturn the Pliva. v Mensing Supreme Court decision which currently prevents generic drug makers from being sued for the damage generic medications cause.

Ms. Brummert will urge Congressional leaders and the FDA to finalize the proposed rule as written because it will promote safety by holding generic drug manufacturers accountable, and stress that delaying this measure will lead to further harm.

Quinolone Vigilance Foundation is honored to be working with the American Association for Justice on this project.

QVF is also working with a news station about the work we do. We are not releasing further information until something solid is in place.

We are also pleased to announce that Quinolone Vigilance Foundation has the support of three Attorneys General on an upcoming project. We are not releasing specifics at this time to protect the integrity of the project. It will take a long time  for this to come to fruition so please bear with us.

We are also pleased to announce that we are working with a Governor to raise awareness about Fluoroquinolone Toxicity. We are not releasing details at this time. Approximate completion of this project will be winter of 2015.

As always, thank you for supporting Quinolone Vigilance Foundation and trusting us to be your voice.
