Dead from Cipro at 55 — Quinolone Antibiotic Injury Victims Mourn Loss of Activist Bob Grozier

Bob never stopped ringing the bell about how dangerous these drugs are, despite having many health challenges. He was a hero to so many.
He leaves behind a grieving family- his mother, daughter, siblings, and an entire community of victims who have come to love and adore him. We will never forget him.
What makes Bob’s death even more tragic is that it could have been prevented. The medical system failed him on so many levels.
Fluoroquinolones were manufactured to fight life threatening infections, yet they are routinely prescribed for infections in which safer antibiotics could have been utilized, and even when no infection exists. The problem is that prescriptions for a fluoroquinolone when it isn’t warranted is like detonating an atom bomb to kill a mosquito. Fluoroquinolones also cross the blood-brain barrier, unlike other classes of antibiotics. It changes one’s DNA and can cause tendon rupture, peripheral neuropathy, brain damage, Central Nervous System dysfunction, seizures, psychological dysfunction, and a host of other ugly adverse effects.
Before his death, Bob made a YouTube video called Quinolone Statement and Reaction about his experience with Cipro and how it severely disabled him. Now it killed him. To caution those reading this who want to watch the video, it is difficult to watch. But it is the reality of what often can happen when someone takes a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Educating yourself is the best way to avoid this happening to you or anyone else.
Bob’s loss is a great one. We will grieve. But, in a way, it just makes us want to fight harder. This should never have happened to him, or to any of us. We will fight with greater resolve. That is a promise. We are acutely aware that the fluoroquinolone community counts on us to get things changed, to help them recover, to push for research that will explain why this happens, and what we can do to reverse it.
We will continue to do this important work that we have been doing, and with greater resolve.
For Bob, and the thousands of others who died as a direct result of taking these dangerous drugs.

It's important for all of us to understand that the Healthcare system, as we know it today, is controlled by the Pharmaceutical Industry. The root of the word Pharmaceutical if Pharmakon, and their structure is poisoning for profit.
